She was a teacher, homemaker and accountant for Geary Grain of Junction City for over 15 years.

She was a member of Zion Brethren in Christ Church, north of Abilene. Two years ago, she moved to Salina from Chapman.

Susan is survived by her husband, Gary, of the home; a son, Christopher Brooks, of Los Angeles, CA; a daughter, Rene Rutledge-Krow, of Studio City, CA; and a sister, Debra Sikes, of Wichita.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Zion Brethren in Christ Church, six miles north of Abilene at the intersection of highways 15 & 18. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at the Johnson Cemetery, Johnson, NE. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Kaye Pogue Hospice Center, 730 Holly Lane, Salina, Kansas. Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, is in charge of arrangements.
