Ida was born October 13, 1927, the daughter of Philip and Blanch Fitzmaurice. Ida was a homemaker and had a passion for photography, in particular photographing flowers, in addition to crocheting and knitting, and a love for jewelry. She had recently gone on her first airplane ride as part of a trip to Walt Disney World. Ida was a quiet lady, who maintained a gracious mannerism in her appearance and appreciation of time spent with friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Dean. Survivors include three sons, Don, Chris and Joe; a daughter, Ann Tilson; a brother, Roy; a sister, Judy and numerous dear friends.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Private inurnment will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery. In honor of Ida’s love of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salina Park Department.
