BROOKVILLE -- Thomas Lester Wikoff, 85, Brookville, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008. Mr. Wikoff was born June 11, 1923 in Ellsworth County, the son of Tom and Minnie (Wagner) Wikoff. He owned and operated Wikoff Garage in Brookville until retirement in 1998. He married Lila Walker on Dec. 29, 1944. She preceded him in death in Feb. 2002. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Grant Wikoff. Survivors include his three children, Edwin Wikoff and wife Brenda and Thomas Wikoff and wife Lori, all of Brookville; and Nancee Richards and husband Leland of Salina; two sisters, Florence Schwerdtfager and Helen Graves, both of Salina; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Brookville City Cemetery, Brookville. Memorials may be made to the Brookville United Methodist Church or the Brookville Senior Citizens. |
