George A. Wilson, 72, Salina, died Aug 21, 2008. He was born Nov. 10, 1935 in Salina to Thomas Everett & Frances Adaline Wilson. He worked for the City of Salina Water Plant. He is preceded in death by a brother, Donald Eugene Wilson. George married the former Norma Jean Honomichl on Nov. 24, 1967 in Salina. Norma survives him, as does a daughter, Sherry and spouse, David Vessey, Salina and three grandchildren, Zach, Dylan & Shelby.
Funeral services will be on Monday morning, Aug. 25th at 11:00 am at the Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Burial will follow in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Visitation will be at the mortuary on Monday prior to the service. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the First United Methodist Church.
