Dolores J. Adkins, age 72, died Feb. 25, 2009, at Windsor Estates Nursing Center, Salina.Mrs. Adkins was born Dolores Jean (Purmalis) Barushok on June 2, 1936, in Blanford, Ind. She was a retired clerk and cashier for Kmart in Salina. She is survived by her husband, Joshua, of the home; a son, Rick Swain, of Henderson, Nev.; two daughters, Pat Hollowell, of Rio Rancho, N.M., and Theresa Martin, of Henderson; three granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren. Cremation has been chosen. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the American Leukemia Fund or the American Diabetes Association. Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth, Salina, is handling arrangements. |
