Mr. Bennet was born John Raymond Bennet to J.B. Bennet and Deloris A. (Hance) Bennet on June 6, 1958 at Plainville, KS. Mr. Bennet was the General Manager for the Pepsi Cola Bottling Company in Salina for many years.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Deloris, 2006, and two brothers, Eldon, 2000 and Douglas, 1950.

He is survived by one son, John E. Bennet of Salina; two daughters, Brandy Bennet of Salina and Amber Snively, and husband Jeremy of Glasco,; his father, J. B. Bennet of Salina; two brothers, Roger and wife Donna of Salina and Carlis and wife Terri of Shenandoah, Iowa and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Webster Conference Center, 2601 North Ohio St. Salina with Rev. Mike Murray officiating. Burial will be in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth St., Salina. Memorials are suggested to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Salina.
