He was an over the road truck driver for many years, working for Henry Trucking, Nelson Trucking and Graves Trucking. He then worked at the City-County Building in Salina in Maintenance until retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home; and one granddaughter, Angel Powell, of Salina.

Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina, with the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Highland Cemetery, New Cambria. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Disease Association.
