Ernestyne Kindlesparger, Pittsburg, Kansas, died April 25, 2009. She was born October 24, 1927 in El Dorado, Ks. the daughter of Ralph Doubek and Evelyn Emrich Doubek. She was a secretary and was a member of the Ladies Elks, Salina Elks Lodge, and a volunteer at the Rolling Hills Wildlife Refuge. Ernestyne married R. Dean Kindlesparger on Jan 8, 1948 in Salina. He preceded her in death in 2002 as do her sister, Eunice Ansel and brother, Donald Emrich. She is survived by her son, Jon Kindlesparger, Pittsburg, and daughter, Nancy Kindlesparger, McPherson, Ks. and stepbrothers, Dean Bowyer, Lakeland, Fl. and Bob Bowyer, Los Alamos, N.M., two grandchildren; Kathy Jo Fry, Kevin Kindlesparger, one step grandchild, Michael Wagner and eight great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Christ Cathedral Episcopal Church, Salina. Memorials are suggested to Rolling Hills Wildlife Refuge or the American Heart Association. Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, is handling arrangements. |
