Orpha Marie (Collins) Weidner, 89, of Salina, died Saturday, April 4, 2009. She was born March 24, 1920, near Princeton, one of four daughters born to Walter and Bess Collins. She married Willis H. Weidner, in Ottawa, on May 5, 1940. She was a homemaker. She is survived by a daughter and three sons, Cindy and Robbie Morrison, of Salina, Woodson Weidner and Barb Logan, Bill and Linda Weidner, all of Topeka, and Sam Weidner and Bethany Meadows, of Estes Park, Colo.; five grandchildren, Emily Morrison and Eric Doust, of Chicago, Nash and Jenny Morrison, of Wichita, Nick Weidner and Ellie Weidner, both of Denver, and Lucas and Risha Weidner, of Charlotte, N.C.; four great-grandchildren, Mallory Morrison and Sawyer Wineland, of Wichita, and Quinn and Alex Weidner, of Charlotte; and a sister, Beryl Bauman, of Kansas City. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sally Reinecke and Norma Drake, both of Ottawa. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
