Robert served in the Army and was a veteran of World War II. On May 9, 1946, he married Marjorie Walle. Robert worked at Jim Sullivan Chevrolet and was a partner and retired service manager of Buxman Motors, Newton. He married his second wife, Edna Suelter, on Dec. 12, 1991.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie Andrews; three sisters, Myrtle Werner, Ivy Humbargar and Fern Buck; and two brothers, Ross and Bill Andrews.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Andrews; son, Don Andrews; daughter, Deanna and husband Dan Boccia; three grandchildren, Kristin and husband Dustin Menzies, Kellie and husband Dominick Kiser, and Brandon Boccia; and brother, Tom Andrews.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 26, at the mortuary. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association and Shriners Hospital.
