Margaret Lucille Crowl, 92, of Salina, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010. Margaret was born in Tescott, KS, to Swinley and Winifred Corman on Dec. 21, 1917. She married Frank Crowl on June 11, 1937. They were married for 69 years. Margaret was a member of First United Methodist Church, DAR, Federated Women and Quilters Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, and a brother, Evan Corman. Survivors include three daughters, Diana McDaneld and husband, Max, of Tucson, Ariz., Barbara Ridder, of Lincoln, Neb., Kathy Vass and husband Max, of Minneapolis, KS; four brothers, Gene Corman, of Gering, Neb., Blaine Corman and wife Jan, of Bay Town, TX, Ted Corman and wife Joan, of Sayerville, NJ, Pat Corman, of St. Louis, MO; two sisters, Mary Louise Werries, of Neosho, MO, Doris Berkley, of Great Bend, KS; nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the church and Minneapolis Good Samaritan Center. |
