She was born in Lawrence, Mass., on Aug. 7, 1962, to Jerry E. and Janet E. Housley. She attended schools at Fort Devens, Mass., Frankfort and Augsburg, Germany, Fort Riley, Kan., and graduated from Salina South High School in 1980. She was employed by Exide of Salina.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Anne Housley in 1967.

She is survived by two sons, Jessie A. (Stephanie) Kaufman, of Overland Park, and Cody T. Kaufman, of the home; her parents, Jerry and Janet Housley; a brother, Frank P. Housley; and a niece, Briana M. Housley, all of Salina.

The remains were cremated. There will be no visitation or service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tammy Walker Cancer Center of Salina.
