SMOLAN — Anthony W. “Tony” LeClair, 42, of Smolan, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Via Christi, St. Francis Health Center, Wichita. Tony was born May 30, 1967, in Los Angeles to Francis Robert and Lola Jane (Love) LeClair. He was in public services for more than 20 years, having worked for the Saline County Sheriff’s Office for seven years, Saline County Rural Fire District 2, TAC EMS as an EMT, and most recently, he was a community service officer for Harvey/McPherson Community Correction. In his spare time, Anthony enjoyed watching NASCAR, and most importantly, spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Alyssa LeClair, a son, Daniel, and two daughters, Mali and Maja, all of the home; a brother, James and wife Julie LeClair, of Perry; two nephews, Joshua and Michael LeClair, of Perry; his father-in-law, Brent Nelson, of Falun; and mother-in-law and stepfather-in-law, Donna and Gene Sandberg, of Smolan. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 8, at Salemsborg Lutheran Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The LeClair Children’s Educational Fund. |
