She worked in home health care as a certified nursing assistant, retiring in 2004.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Stanley; a daughter, Rhonda Mayer; her father; and her mother, Anna, on Dec. 22, 2009.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Lawrence Mayer, of Gypsum; a son, Richard Mayer, of Salina; two daughters, Jolene Kruse and Wanda Shaw, both of Gypsum; three brothers, Lee Bullock, of Alverado, Texas, Bob Bullock, of Grandview, Texas, and Ronnie Bullock, of Salina; and a sister, Jean Harms, of Newton; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at Gypsum Methodist Church, Gypsum, followed by burial in Gypsum Valley Cemetery, Gypsum.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
