Siphaeng Phomchaleun, 79, of Salina, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010. He was born Sept. 7, 1930, in Laos, Southeast Asia. He worked as a laborer in the manufacture of oil drilling equipment. He moved from Louisiana to Salina in 2010 to be near his daughter. Survivors include a son, Pheng, of Laos; a daughter, Becky Phomchaleun, and three grandchildren, Anastasia, Jennifer and Sadie Phomchaleun, all of Salina. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at the mortuary. Cremation will follow the service. |
