Eldon was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, in 1995; sister, Reba Tjemsland; and brother, Wayne Reed.

Eldon is survived by his current wife, Ruth Pettijohn Reed; son, Lynn and wife Jan, of Salina, and their children, Brett Reed and fiance Melissa Hildebrand and Laura Reed, of Austin, Texas; son, Lee and wife Sheila, and their son Robbie Rollins, of Anchorage, Alaska; and daughter, Sherry, and her son, Steven, of Chambersburg, Pa. Eldon is also survived by his brother, Lowell Reed, of Fallbrook, Calif.; sister, Darlene Sexton and husband Bill, of Woodbine; stepchildren, Alan and wife Barbara Pettijohn, of Salina, Linda and husband Bill Scriven, of Napoleon, Mo., Carol and husband Arden Peterson, of Solomon; and all of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren in these wonderful families.

Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at the Navarre Senior Center, with a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Navarre Cemetery.
