She had worked at the Mowery Clinic as a receptionist for Dr. Gans for many years. She also had worked for Duffens Optical and the former Marymount College, all in Salina. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Salina.

She was preceded in death by one son, Greg, in 1992; one daughter, Susan Weisenberger, in 2005; her parents; four brothers; and three sisters.

She is survived by her husband, James, of the home; two sons, Rodney and wife Kathy Stack and John and wife Linda Stack, all of Salina; four daughters, Linda Deneault and husband Sam, of Garland, Texas, Mary Porter and husband Doug and Pat Ernzen and husband Greg, all of Salina, and Teresa Wilson and husband Scott, of Ardmore, Okla.; 24 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 20, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401, with a vigil at 7:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud St., Salina 67401, with Father Kerry Ninemire as celebrant, followed by burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the church or the Saline County ARC, Special Olympics.
