Manville Joseph Cassell, 87, of Salina, passed away Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017. He was born July 5, 1930 in Manhattan, and was raised in Beverly, Kan. He married Kathleen Hagstrand, Dec. 26, 1975 in Salina.
Joe joined the Navy and served in the Korean War. He was a retired teamster. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, VFW, and American Legion. He retired from Graves Truckline after 30 years.
Survivors include: his wife, Kathleen of the home; children, Jo Ann Mutschler of Salina, Vickie Crossman of Hutchinson, Linda Draper (Paul) of Salina, Connie Lyon (Bret) of Salina, Mike Humbargar of Victoria, Teri Humbargar of Salina, and Jackie Sharp (Rick) of Salina; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 at Belmont Boulevard Christian Church with pastor Tara Thompson as officiant.
