Robert "Bob" Dale Campbell
April 20, 1940 - January 28, 2018

Robert "Bob" Dale Campbell, 77, of Salina, passed away peacefully at his home Sunday Jan. 28, 2018. Bob was born April 20, 1940 in Concordia, to Gaylord and Fern (Larson) Campbell. Bob married Linda (Siebert), July 2, 1969. Bob was a veteran serving in the US Army. He was employed and co-owner of Electrical Equipment for over 40 years. Bob loved serving God and others.

After being drafted from the United States Army in 1963, he returned home from Germany and honorably discharged in 1969. He met, then shortly thereafter married Linda Siebert Haselhorst, a widow with three little boys, on July 2, 1969. He was welcomed and soon loved by the Haselhorst family. Bob and Linda had two children after marriage, Krista and Matthew. He was a wonderful family man, hard worker and devoted husband and father to his five children.

Bob liked to hunt and fish and enjoyed going boating and camping as a family. They spent many weekends at the lake having fun. He passed his love of the outdoors to his children. Bob was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family. He also spent a lot of his time volunteering at the Birthright center, helping where it was needed and doing whatever was asked of Linda. For over 40 years, Bob was an electrician and worked on projects for many big commercial businesses, including Salina Regional Health Center, Concordia Elementary School, K-State, redoing Nichols gym and the plant science builing and many other locations. Later on in life, he had a severe, rare type stroke on August 24, 2012. After being in the hospital and completing rehabilitation, he returned home and Linda devoted her life to his care until he unexpectedly and peacefully passed away Sunday morning.

Survivors are: his wife, Linda of the home; his children, Roger Haselhorst, David Haselhorst (Shelly), Darren Haselhorst (Carleen), Krista DeMars (Jim), and Mathew Campbell (Tina); beloved sister, Norma Price; sister-in-law, Merna Campbell; grandchildren, Duane, Savonnah, Grant, Kasey, Emily, Keni, Ty, K-lee, Vallen and Shaye; and many nieces and nephews.
