Arturo “Junior” Zepeda, 22, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, in Salina, Kansas, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 4, 2003, in Salina, Kansas.

He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness, bravery, and gentle spirit left a lasting imprint on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though Arturo’s time with us was far too brief, his impact was profound.

Arturo was known for his big heart, generosity, and sense of humor. He was brave in ways both seen and unseen, meeting life with quiet strength, compassion, and resilience. He had a rare ability to make people feel safe and cared for, and he took immense pride in being an uncle, loving his family deeply and wholeheartedly.

He enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, and sharing laughter with those closest to him. Arturo’s warmth, courage, and loving nature will be profoundly missed, but his light will continue to live on through the memories, love, and lives he touched.

He is survived by his loving parents, Ramona and Arturo Zepeda; his siblings, Lizzeth, Eduardo, Juan, and Mario; his niece and nephews, Isabella, Ricky, Daniel, and Geo; along with extended family who will forever carry him in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

A visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Wednesday February 25, 2026, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 118 N 9th St, Salina, KS. A rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday February 26, 2026, at Sacred Heart Cathedral. A burial will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery 3350 E Crawford, Salina, KS.

Arturo “Junior” Zepeda de 22 años, falleció el jueves 19 de febrero del 2026, en Salina KS, rodeado de su familia. Nació el 4 de agosto del 2003 en Salina, KS.

Fue un hijo, hermano, tío y amigo muy querido, cuya bondad, valentía y espíritu gentil dejaron una huella duradera en todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Aunque el tiempo de Arturo con nosotros fue demasiado breve, su impacto fue profundo.

Arturo era conocido por su gran corazón, su generosidad y su sentido del humor. Fue valiente de maneras visibles e invisibles, enfrentando la vida con fortaleza silenciosa, compasión y resiliencia. Tenía una capacidad especial para hacer que los demás se sintieran seguros y queridos, y sentía un inmenso orgullo de ser tío, amando a su familia profunda y sinceramente.

Disfrutaba jugar videojuegos, escuchar música y compartir risas con las personas más cercanas a él. La calidez, el valor y la naturaleza amorosa de Arturo serán profundamente extrañados, pero su luz continuará viviendo a través de los recuerdos, el amor y las vidas que tocó.

Le sobreviven sus amados padres, Ramona y Arturo Zepeda; sus hermanos, Lizzeth, Eduardo, Juan y Mario; sus sobrinas y sobrinos, Isabella, Ricky, Daniel y Geo; así como su familia extendida, quienes lo llevarán por siempre en sus corazones. Fue precedido en la muerte por sus abuelos paternos y maternos.

El velorio será a partir de las 7:00 p.m. a las 12:00 a. m. del miércoles 25 de febrero de 2026, en la Catedral del Sagrado Corazón, 118 N 9th St, Salina, KS. A las 7:30 p.m. se celebrará un rosario.

La misa de funeral será a las 10:00 a. m. el jueves 26 de febrero de 2026 en la Catedral del Sagrado Corazón. Seguirá un entierro en el Cementerio Católico de Todos los Santos 3350 E Crawford, Salina, KS.
