Barbara Marie (Neumann) Culver

Barbara Marie Culver, 70, of La Cygne, Ks passed away peacefully on April 14th, 2021.  She was born on September 30th, 1950 in Salina, Ks. to Walter H. and Rhoda (McMickle) Neumann. Barbara graduated from Salina High School in 1968.  She worked for Schwan’s Pizza for many years as well as USPS.  In her spare time, she loved to watch the KC Chiefs, read books and put puzzles together.  Most of all she was the best mother and grandmother.

Barbara married Hideaki (George) Dalme on December 27th 1973, to this union two children were born.  She married Curtis Culver and they later divorced.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Walter H. and Rhoda Neumann and sister, Catherine Eshelman.

She is survived by her children, Stacey (Ryan) Fromdahl of La Cygne, Ks. and Craig (Rosalie) Dalme of Salina; sister Leslie (Stan) Lauer of Salina, and brother-in-law; John Rex Eshelman of Las Vegas, Nevada; her beloved grandchildren, Brianne (Zach) Whitley, Charlotte, NC; Ashley Feldmann, Emporia; Veronika Fromdahl, an ABH on the USS Carl Vinson; Riley Fromdahl an AC at Pax River, MD; Roman and Ambrose Dalme, Salina and her special cat, Toni.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 19th at Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth St., Salina. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 20th at St. John's Lutheran Church, Salina. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the church or Salina Animal Services.
