Barbara Tanuis Obituary

Barbara Jean Tanuis, 82, passed away October 19, 2025. She was born on March 15, 1943, in Wilson, Kansas, to Christian Stoppel and Anna Eaton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Christian Stoppel and Anna (Eaton) Stoppel; husband, Theodore Tanuis Sr.; son, Jeffrey Tanuis; and sisters, Ann Heller, Elaine Stithem, and Dorthy Welborn.

She is survived by her sons, Edward Tanuis, Theodore Tanuis Jr., Roger Tanuis, and Douglas Tanuis; her daughter, Laurie Davidson; brother Chris Stoppel; and numerous grand children and great grandchildren.

Barbara will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Per her wishes no services will be held.
