Betty Anne (Wagner) Beach,
97, passed away peacefully at home in Salina KS on November 5, 2024. She was born June 19, 1927, in Ellsworth KS.
Betty grew up on a farm in the Ellsworth/Brookville area where she met her husband Charles H Beach. They wed on April 7, 1946, and raised 4 children, Connie, Charles, Cheryl and Cindy. She was a long-standing member of the Fidelity Rebekah Lodge, the Brookville United Methodist Church, and Brookville Senior Citizens.
She did many things in her lifetime; from teaching in a One Room Schoolhouse to working on a Military Project at Cal Tech University to owning a Moving and Storage company. But her most rewarding experience was being with her children and grandchildren. Charles and Betty traveled and lived all over the United States. She was always up for anything and could make friends with anyone she met. Her joy lit up any room she entered.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Beach; son, Charles V Beach; parents, George and Clara (Warta) Wagner; brothers Joe Ray Wagner and George Wagner; Sister, Mary (Wagner) Lolley; son-in-law, Harold Kincaid; and great-granddaughter, Katie Breanna Laumann.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie (Loel) Laumann, Cheryl Kincaid, Cindy (Earon) Lawson; grandchildren, Darrel, Dan, Tony, Matt, Laura, Felicia, James and Joey; great-grandchildren Jeffrey, Jackson, Charlie, Jocelynn, Avery, George, Molly, Brynna, Oliver, Harry, Jack, Betty, Hudson, Saylor, and Frank; and many other family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 16, at Brookville United Methodist Church, burial will follow at Brookville City Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 15 at Ryan Mortuary.
