Bruce A. Doris

Bruce A. Doris, age 54, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026. 

Bruce was born on January 26, 1972, in Ransom, Kansas. He later grew up in Colby, Kansas, where he graduated high school in 1991.

Bruce was a devoted and loving father, son, brother, and friend. In his younger years, Bruce was active in high school wrestling, showing determination, strength, and a competitive spirit that stayed with him throughout his life.

Bruce will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by those who knew him best. He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Doris, of Minneapolis, KS; his mother, Debra Koon, his stepfather the late Larry Koon, of Salina, KS; his father, Keith Doris, and stepmother, Shelley Doris, of Florence, AZ; his sister, Sheila Jacobo, and her husband, Vincent Jacobo, of Salina, KS; and his stepbrother, Van Koon, and his wife, Lynette Koon, of Colby, KS.

A visitation and service will be held at Ryan Mortuary Salina, KS on February 3, 2026, at 12:30 PM, with a graveside service to follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bruce’s life and the memories shared with him.
