Carl Edwin Morris

Carl Edwin Morris, 81, of Salina passed away on July 6, 2026. Carl was born on November 14, 1944, in El Dorado, Kansas, to Francis Joseph Morris and Erma Collette (Ott) Morris.
Carl graduated from Kipp High School. After high school Carl worked at Waynes Homes Basement for 20 years. Later working for Busboom & Rauh Construction until retirement. 

Carl was a member of the NRA and Quivira Gun Club. Carl enjoyed target shooting, reloading hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and friends, dancing, gardening, farming, woodworking, metalworking, and using his lathe and milling machine. Carl also went to auctions to socialize.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents Francis and Erma Morris.

He is survived by his brother Dale Morris, nephew Kristopher Morris, niece Christa (Nathan) Shea, their four children Mackenzie Shea, Alexander Shea, Brooke Shea, and George Shea.

The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina KS. Followed by a burial at Roselawn Cemetery, Salina, KS.
