Carol Williams Obituary

Carol I. Williams, 84 years of age of Salina passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at home. She was born on May 20, 1939, in Marquette, Kansas, to Don and Ada Peterson.

Carol was a 1957 graduate of Marquette High School. She was then a childcare provider, running a home daycare for 39 years.

On June 23, 1961, Carol married Robert (Bob) Williams in Fairbury, Nebraska. Together they had four children, Rodger Peterson, Terri Peterson, Robert (Bobby) Williams Jr., and Mark Williams.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Ada Peterson; husband, Robert Williams; brothers, Jack Peterson, Bill Peterson, and Dick Peterson; and sisters, Lila Kindt, Barbara Peterson, Phyllis Strifler, and Patricia Peterson.

Survivors include her four children; her sister, Mildred (Millie) Maskil; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Carol loved bowling, bingo, playing cards, dancing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 9th from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, 1700 Beverly Drive, Salina KS. 67401. This will be a casual, come-and-go get-together, where we would love to hear about your favorite memories with Carol.

Memorials can be made to the family, in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th Street, Salina Kansas.
