Carol Jean Heller Obituary

Carol Jean Heller, 90, of Salina, Kan., passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. She was born on October 2, 1931, in Norton County, Kan., to Curtis and Elizabeth (Lathrop) Kelly.

Carol graduated nursing school in 1952 from St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City. On November 8, 1953, she and Donald Max Heller were united in marriage in Norton.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Marlene Edwards (Dennis), Sundance, Wyo., Marilyn Rose (Paul), Palmetto, Fla., and Martha Smith, Salina; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Don.

A private service and burial will be held at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carol Heller Trust, for a nursing scholarship, care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N 8th St, Salina, KS 67401.
