Carolyn M. Pfannenstiel, 75, passed May 26, 2021, at Salina Regional Health Center.
She was born June 26, 1945, in Hays, KS to Otto and Blanche (Weber) Windholz.
Carolyn had a love for fashion which led her to a career in the clothing industry as manager and buyer for many years retiring in 2011. She also enjoyed bowling, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include daughter Jacqueline O’Riley and husband Darin, son Kevin Pfannenstiel and wife Kathleen and son-in-law Matthew Howell.
Grandchildren Brittany Lawrence and husband Tyler, Brianna Augustine and husband Tyler, Riley Pfannenstiel and Ethan Pfannenstiel. Great-Grandchildren Taylee, Brydon, Kaden, Bryn, Karson, Emerie and Ezra. Brother’s Virgil Windholz and wife Lou, Otto Windholz Jr and wife Jackie, sister Charlotte Blake and husband Don and brother-in-law Jerry Schmidtberger, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Howell, sister Louise Schmidtberger and her parents.
A private graveside service was held in Victoria Kansas.
The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Salina Presbyterian Manor, Salina KS in Carolyn Pfannenstiel’s name.
