Cathy (Orman) Commerford

Cathy Commerford, 74, of Salina, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021.  She was born in Aiken, SC, to Jack and Mary (Fennell) Orman, on February 21, 1947.   She married Don Commerford on June 13, 1964 in Salina.

Survivors include her husband Don, of the home; children Lori (Jeff) Platt, Rick (Becky) Commerford, Shawn (Claudia) Commerford, all of Salina, Ryan (Amy) Commerford, of Gypsum; brother Fred (Jo) Orman, of Maricopa, AZ; grandchildren, Dani (Calvin) Jeffrey, Madi Varner, Kiley Commerford, Clayton Commerford, Maliyah Commerford, Eli Commerford, Carly Commerford, and Abby Commerford; great-grandchildren, Jaden Windholz, Breckyn Jeffrey, Gentry Jeffrey, and Rhett Jeffrey.

Cathy devoted her life to her family which was well known to be her greatest passion.  She greatly enjoyed following her kids and grandchildren all around in various activities. She also loved to read and spend time with her four-legged friend, Annie.  She greatly enjoyed her time with friends over the years, especially later in life as part of the "Nerd Herd".

There will be no services.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Salina Animal Services or Catholic Charities in care if Ryan Mortuary.
