Christopher “Chris” A. Williams

Christopher “Chris” A. Williams, 49, Salina, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026. Chris served in the Kansas State National Guard and served in the United States Army overseas. Chris was a loving father to his son Jaxon, a caring son to his parents Ben and Karen, and a thoughtful brother to Matthew. Chris was a kind, gentle, and compassionate veteran and member of his community.

Chris graduated from Independence High School and went to trade school at Flint Hills Technical College. Following his education, he joined the United States Army and then the Kansas State National Guard. During his time in Salina, Chris worked at Petro where he enjoyed meeting new people. Chris spent his time experimenting with new recipes, frequently sharing them with his loved ones.

Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jack DeWitt and Lucile DeWitt, and his paternal grandparents, Curt and Leon Williams.

Chris is survived by his parents, Ben and Karen Williams (Columbia, TN); sibling, Matthew Williams (Columbia, TN); his son, Jaxon Dorr (Osage, KS); and maternal aunts and uncle, Patricia Epple (Crossville, TN) and Eddie and Lola DeWitt (Knoxville, TN).

A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Salina.
