Darius Guadalupe Lopez Blue

SALINA - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Darius Guadalupe Lopez Blue, who left this world far too soon at the age of 3 on December 30, 2024. Darius was born on June 16, 2021, at Salina Regional Health Center to Breanna Ashley Blue and Dario Antonio Lopez.

Darius brought boundless joy to everyone who knew him, with his infectious laughter, love for toys, and appreciation for food. He will forever be remembered for his bright, beaming smile, unquenchable curiosity, vibrant creativity, and beautiful spirit.

Darius is survived by his loving parents, Dario Antonio Lopez and Breanna Ashley Blue, and his cherished sister, Yaretzi Alicia Lopez. He is also deeply mourned by his grandparents: Mercedes Patricia Arevalo and Jose De Jesus Franco of Salina, KS, and Josh and Katie Young of Cañon City, CO.

Darius was adored by his uncles and aunts: Izaiah Guadalupe Tlatenchi and spouse of Phoenix, AZ; Joshua Tlatenchi and spouse of Salina; Alan Enrique Lopez and spouse of Salina; Ty Young and spouse of San Diego, CA; Mason Maas of Salina; Kylie Young and spouse of Cañon City; Brendan Young and spouse of Colorado Springs, CO; and Tanner Young of Cañon City. He was loved by numerous extended family members, including uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate Darius’ life will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N 8th St., Salina. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m.  Graveside services will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery.

In honor of our little angel, we kindly ask attendees to wear white.

Darius’ light may have been brief, but his impact on our hearts will last forever.
