Evelyn Dorothy (Hilliard) Frederick

Evelyn Dorothy (Hilliard) Frederick: 1925-2022. Evelyn grew up as a farm girl on Sugarloaf Mountain in Pennsylvania; there were always chores. It was a life she returned to many years later when she "retired" to a farm in Tennessee!

She entered a nursing program (RN) sponsored by the U.S. military during WW2 and graduated after the war's end. She was very proud of her profession during the years she worked prior to becoming a wife and mother, and during those occasions when she worked afterwards.

She was brilliantly intelligent, infinitely resourceful, abundantly thoughtful, generous by definition, unwaveringly strong in faith and character.

Evelyn is predeceased by her husband, LeRoy, a son Ken and great grandchild Bradley Smith but is survived by daughter in law Pam Frederick, Scottsbluff, NE; Ron (Kay) Frederick, Tallahassee, FL; and Nancy (Jim) Smith, Assaria, KS; her 9 grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Her body was cremated and a private graveside burial will be held at a later date in Conyngham, PA.
