Eyler Eugene “Andy” Anderson, 95, of Salina, Kan., passed away Friday, May 1, 2026. He was born July 6, 1930, in Marquette, Kan., to Lawrence and Reina (Miller) Anderson.
Andy married Delores Oborg on December 23, 1951, at Salemsborg Lutheran Church, Smolan, Kan. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving on the USS Walke DD 723 during the Korean War, and was a life-time member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. Andy worked as a truck driver for various companies and for Dillions for over 35 years.
Survivors include his children, Barbara Bowman, Keith, and Kurtis (Sherry); nine grandkids; and 18 great grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 69 years, Delores; infant sister, Margaret Carolyn; sons, Brent and Kory Anderson, grandchildren, Kjirsten and Levi Anderson, and Sally Colbert; son-in-law, Joe Bowman; and special friend, Norma Jean Holm.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 8, from 10-11 am, with the funeral service following at 11 a.m., both at Salemsborg Lutheran Church, Smolan. A private family burial will be at Salemsborg Lutheran Church Cemetery.
