Freda A. (Hardesty) Vogan

Freda A. Vogan, 84, of Salina, Kansas, passed away peacefully on October 11th, 2024, surrounded by family. Freda was born on Feb 16th to James Hardesty and Mamie Kerr. She grew up in the Salina/Brookville area.

Freda was united in marriage to Dale Vogan in 1957 and they were married for 51 years before his death in 2008. Freda worked for various moving companies, was a homemaker, helped her husband at Day and Night Plumbing, and worked for the City of Salina until her retirement.

Surviving are her children, Sandra Lobdell (Gilbert), Kim Franklin (Mark), Julie Cairns (Jon), Dalene Hole (Monty), Sari Nojonen of Finland, Chris Vogan (Shianta); 20 Grandchildren; and 21 Great Grandchildren; and her best CB friend in Australia, Pauline Haimes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband; four sisters, Mildred Hardesty, Goldie Radke, Faye Hill, Ruby Crook; and Great Grandchild Melina Garmen.

Visitation will be Friday October 18th, from 5 - 7 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th, Salina. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 19th, at Ryan Mortuary.

Memorials may be made to the family (Dalene Hole) to help with expenses.
