Ilene Bessie (Vaughn) Pruett

Ilene Bessie Pruett, 78, of Salina, KS, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024. She was born August 19, 1946, in McCook, NE.

Ilene and her husband, John, ran a typewriter sales and repair shop in Ann Arbor, MI, and later she worked many years at Target in Garden City, MI, before retiring. In her free time Ilene loved to crochet, do puzzles and arts and crafts, and watch her gameshows.

Survivors include her daughters, Kellie Funk (Scott), of Larned, KS, Shanda Betzold (Dusty Stuart), of Salina, and Nicole Rundle (Shawn), of Parrish, FL; grandchildren, Skyler and Austin Coffey, Shayla Hernandez (Robert), Brandyn Betzold, and Charity, Jordan, Ethan, and Jamie Rundle; great-grandson, Oliver Hernandez; and sister, Patsy Castor (Doug), of Glendale, AZ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Alice (Crawford) Vaughn, and husband, John Pruett.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
