On Tuesday February 9th, 2021, Jeffrey Montoya, loving son and brother, passed away at the age of 51.

Jeffrey was born on September 30th, 1969 in Rawlins, WY to Julian and Joan (Samora) Montoya.  After high school, Jeffrey moved to Denver and attended Colorado Institute of Art and graduated with a degree in Fashion Merchandising.  His career consisted of employment at numerous high-end cosmetic companies, MAC Cosmetics, Bare Escentuals, and Kiehls.  After many years in the cosmetic industry, he then decided to move to Salina, KS to be closer to family.  In Salina, he worked for Urgent Care Clinic Salina Regional Health Center, H&R Block, and Saline County District Court.

Jeffrey’s passion early in life was his career and reaching for the top, he was very creative and became a phenomenal makeup artist.  He also loved to travel, and fortunately his career took him many places around the world that inspired him to see places near and far.  One of the other things he loved was to help with charities and fundraisers; he was a big supporter of the AIDS Foundation.  He had many friends around the world.  He took great pride in ensuring everyone, especially his family, were taken care of and happy.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Joan.

He is survived by his brother Jake Montoya (Beth) and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
