Jesus "Jesse" Antonio Martinez

Jesus Antonio “Jesse” Martinez, 29, of Salina, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021. He was born November 19, 1991, to Marco Martinez and Aurora Salinas.

Jesse was an automotive painter that had a true love for his work. His favorite hobby was fixing and riding his bike. Jesse genuinely loved helping his family and friends. He was a great father who also extended the exact same love, support, and willingness to his nieces and nephews. A best friend to so many, a protector to his sisters, and a solid unifier for his entire family. Jesse will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his parents, Marco and Aurora; his grandparents, Genaro and María Teresa Martinez, and Melquiades and Maria Salinas; his daughter, Sophia; wife, Courtney; and step daughter, OwnDayMah; his sisters, Marissa and Sharay Martinez; and nieces, Ty, Jekayla, Kimara; and nephews, Adriel and Ares; as well as very many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., June 10, at Ryan Mortuary, with burial to follow in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials donations may be made to the mortuary to help with funeral expenses.
