Obituary
Jim A. Chestnutt, 64, of Salina, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, in his home. Jim was born May 30, 1959 to Jimmy and Lillian Chestnutt. He was married to his high school sweetheart for 45 years. Jim was a devoted husband, father, and grandparent.
Jim joined the U.S. Air Force after high school and served four years, after the military Jim and Kelly came back to Salina, KS, where Jim started working for the city of Salina where he retired.
Jim is preceded in death by his wife Kelly, and his parents Jimmy and Lillian.
He is survived by his son Dustin Chestnutt; granddaughter, Kyla; and brother Mike.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth Street, Salina.
