Julie K. (Holloway) Reddig

Julie K. Reddig, 65, of Salina, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024.  She was born August 9, 1959, to Herman and Betty (Krehbiel) Holloway in McPherson, Kansas.   She attended Canton Galva High School and graduated in 1977.  She graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University in 1981 to become an English teacher.   Throughout her teaching career, she taught at Minneapolis High School, Roosevelt Lincoln Junior High, and South Middle School and retired in 2017.  She married Walter Reddig on June 9, 1981.  She loved motorcycle and jeep trips to the Colorado Mountains.  What brought her the most joy, was spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons.

She is survived by her husband Walter; son, Chris and Kristen Reddig; grandsons, Jaxon Reddig and Holden Reddig; sisters, Carmen and Art Adamsen and Sue and Carl Boldra; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents;  sister, Holly Mitchell; infant twin brothers, Rex and Ryan Holloway.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.  Inurnment will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
