Kevin Bayard Bell

Kevin Bayard Bell, 63, of Salina, Kan., passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024. He was born on December 12, 1960, in Louisville, KY, to Billie Bayard Bell and JoAnn (Buehler) Bell.

Kevin and his father opened Bayard’s Café in Salina over 45 years ago. He continued to run the restaurant with family after his father’s death and was the rock of the family. Kevin was hard working, and he loved his dogs and especially his wife, Vickie. Put simply, he was the best brother a girl could ask for.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Vickie (Strickland) Bell.

Survivors include his sisters, Janey Wootan (David), Billie Jo Bell, and Lisa Bell; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the Salemsborg Lutheran Cemetery, Smolan, Kan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salina Animal Shelter, care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
