Lawrence H. Korbel

Lawrence H. Korbel, 97, of Salina, KS passed away Thursday, September 12th, 2024. He was born on January 24, 1927, in Caldwell, Kansas to Anna Albert and Henry Korbel. He married Nellie L. (Seifert) Korbel on April 1, 1949, in Hutchinson, Kansas. Throughout the years, Lawrence was employed at the Coleman company in Wichita, then retired from Beech Aircraft after 33 years as a Wing Manufacturer. After retirement Lawrence passion of hunting, fishing, camping, and refurbishing bicycles were fulfilled even more.

He is survived by his daughter Lori Loe; grandson, Blake Loe of Salina, KS; great grandson, Atlas Loe of Olathe KS.

He is preceded in death by his sons Ronald G. Korbel and Gregory L. Korbel; and his wife Nellie L. (Seifert) Korbel.

Funeral Services will be at Ryan Mortuary at 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 18. The burial will be at Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
