Linda K. (Steckman) Leach

SALINA – Linda K. Leach, 65, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023.  She was born in Sidney, Montana to Ershel and Shirley (Wilhelm) Steckman.

Linda was a certified nursing assistant and enjoyed her time helping others.  She worked for many years at Salina Presbyterian Manor and as a home health nurse.

She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, always ready to cheer on her son at his sporting events.  

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Leach in 1987, and her parents.

She is survived by her son, Scott Leach and grandchildren, Jaygen and Anabelle Leach of Hays; siblings, Becky Steckman of Salina, Dwayne Steckman (Linda) of Wakefield, KS and Hank Steckman (Chandra) of Manchester, KS; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.    

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2023 at Ryan Mortuary.  A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1425 S. Ohio St., Salina.  Inurnment will be in Bethany Cemetery, Hunter, KS.
