Linda Marie Riggs-Stramel

Linda Marie Riggs-Stramel, 78, of Salina, passed away on September 28, 2025. Linda was born on May 21, 1947, south of Quinter, Kansas, on the family farm to Howard and Anna Riggs.

She graduated from Quinter High School in 1965. On May 29, 1969, Linda married the love of her life, John O. Stramel.

Her husband preceded her in death on March 22, 2020. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles; and her sisters, Eunice and Yvonne.

Survivors include her daughter, Rachel Elsen and husband Dennis, and their family, of Beloit; her brothers, Leonard and wife Carol of Wichita, Kansas, and James and wife Sandy of Lincoln, Nebraska; her sister, Evelyn of Escondido, California; grandchildren, Haley Dreith and Husband Allen, Brianna Elsen, Lacy Elsen; 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen, and no services will follow. Scattering of the ashes will take place at the WaKeeney Veterans Cemetery.

She tried to live her life for Jesus.
