Linda Lou Sherman, 76, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2025. She was born April 8,1949 in Denver, Colorado to Raymond and Alice Bush.
Linda resided in Kansas for almost 60 years. She was an avid reader, quilter, and bowler for many decades. She met her husband Roger, through bowling, and enjoyed a happy 45-year marriage. She retired from her sales associate job at Homemade Happiness in 2010. In her later years she found joy from watching her grandkids and great grandkids activities, such as music recitals and sports events. Anyone who knew her in these last few years would also note how much she enjoyed sending out Facebook posts and Reels.
Survivors include her husband, Roger, Daughters, Michelle Barnum (Gary) of Wichita, KS, Leigh Sherman (Craig) of Eastman, GA, Son, Joe Train (Misty) of Salina, KS and Stepdaughter Dori Staggs of McPherson, KS. Grandchildren, Michael Train (Brook), Courtney Train (Stephen), Stacy Davis, Allie Gowen (Chandler), Anna Jobbins (Hunter), Justis Taddiken (Dallas), Michael Nece (Katelynn), Chloe Nece, Audrey Burggen (Nels), Ryan Arnold (Mika), John Arnold (Kacy) and numerous great grandchildren as well as many other kids that called her Grandma Sherman.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Alice and Raymond Bush, and sister Amy.
A celebration of life is planned for 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 25th, at Arbor Court, 1000 Schippel Dr.
The family asks in lieu of flowers that donation be made to the Tammy Walker Cancer Center in Salina, KS.
