Obituary
Margaret Book, 94, of Salina, KS passed away September 8th, 2023.
Margaret was born March 13th, 1929, to the late Russell and Margaret Taylor in West Mifflin, PA. Margaret was a military wife traveling to six different states and to the Panama Canal Zone with her husband, the late Arthur Book.
Margaret retired after 35 years of service with K-Mart then continued working another seven years with USD305 in food service.
At age 70, Margaret met Tom McClellan and enjoyed music, dancing and traveling for 15 years until his death.
Margaret is proceeded in death by her brother, George Taylor, and sisters, Regina Ward and Pauline Salinger.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Margaret Doan; grandson, Russell LaRue; granddaughter, Jordanne and husband Jeremy Gerdes; great granddaughters, Jessalyn and Jillian Gerdes; and sister, Mitzi Minoski.
