Mary Ladene Edwards

Mary Ladene Edwards, 75, of Pinnacle Care Healthcare and Rehab of Salina, Ks passed away November 13, 2024. 

Mary was born June 26, 1949, at Asbury Hospital, to Raymond Archie Edwards and Phyllis Jean Edwards. Mary graduated from Salina High School in 1967. She worked at Elmore Sundries and Gift Shop until it closed. She then worked at Capitol Federal Savings Bank.

Mary was a loving aunt to Chris (Kylie) Hurtig of Wichita, KS; Joshua (Marcee) Edwards of Hansen, ID; Luke Edwards of Rapid City, SD; Lindsey (Travis) Tillett of Salina, KS; Kolby (Andrea) Edwards of Lawrence.

Mary was preceded in death by her father Ray; her brother, Allan; and her mother, Jean.

She is survived by her brother, Dennis (Marlene) Sundance, WY; her sister in law Connie Edwards (Scott Lang) and previously mentioned nieces and nephews.

Mary was an active member of the Grace Baptist Church of Salina, KS and she dearly loved her church family.

Mary had many, many dear friends and loved getting together. Gatherings for coffee, holidays or birthdays were always lots of fun.

There will be a celebration of life on November 23, 2024 at 11 am at the Roselawn Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the Grace Baptist Church. Memorial gifts may be made to Grace Baptist Church.
