Merlyn "Lee" Terry

Merlyn “Lee” Terry, 83, passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 28th.  He was born to Mirl and Eleanor (Berg) Terry on November, 19th 1938 in Lindsborg, Kansas.  

Lee graduated from Marquette High School in 1956.  He then joined the United States Marine Corp and spent most of the next ten years in California.  After moving back to Kansas in 1967 he learned how to lay carpet and tile and that became his profession.  

He married Carol Ann Hulse on May 10, 1986 at Church of the Cross in Salina, Kansas.  Their son Sam was born on March 14th, 1987.  Lee loved watching sports, going to the YMCA, spending time with his family and hearing about everything his grandkids were doing.

Lee is survived by his wife, Carol.  Son and daughter in law, Sam and Jacqui Terry of Lake Wales, FL.  His grandchildren, Francesca, Theo, Oz, and Titus.  His sister Beverly Alstatt (Kay).  Lee was preceded in death by his parents Mirl and Eleanor Terry. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9 at 10:00 at Emmanuel Salina, 1325 East Cloud, Salina, Kansas.

Memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Salina, 730 Holly Lane, Salina, Kansas 67401.
