Mike Dee Christensen

Mike Dee Christensen came as a gift from God into the family of O.L. (Pete) and Clila Christensen on July 24, 1946, in Salina. He graduated from Salina High School, Kansas Wesleyan University, and worked in finance.

Mike married Gaye Lynn Maze on March 23, 1972.  Twelve years later their son, Gary, was born.

Mike went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, Mar. 14, 2021.

He is best known for his sense of humor, willingness to help others, love of exercise, drinking coffee with friends, and passion for technology and accounting.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry.

Survivors include his wife, Gaye, and son, Gary.

Funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Ninth & Crawford, on Friday, March 19, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Dennis Kootz officiating.  Visitation will be at 9:45 am at the church. Social distancing will be observed, masks are requested.  Interment will follow the service at Roselawn Memorial Park, East Crawford St.  

Memorials may be given in his memory to the Trinity Lutheran Organ Fund or the Tammy Walker Cancer Center.
