Norma Jean Andrews, 94, died at home on Monday, June 16, 2025, surrounded by her children and their spouses.
Norma Jean was born on April 15, 1931, in Ellsworth County. She was a terrific flower gardener who worked at Salina County Club for many years keeping flowers looking beautiful. At home, her flower specialty was zinnias, and she always planted many huge beds of zinnias to share and enjoy. She definitely had a green thumb when it came to flowers. She also loved her birds and fed them with many feeders throughout the year.
Norma Jean and her husband, Tom enjoyed dancing with the Jolly Mixers for many years and attended senior dinners at Gypsum.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Tom, parents Earl and Julie Phelps, brothers John and Alfred and sisters Neva, Janice, and Joyce, and two grandsons, Shea and Brian.
Norma Jean is survived by her children Julie (Jim) Jones of Spring Hill, Marvin (Lynell) Andrews of Calhan, Colorado, and Gary (Sally) Andrews of Hillsboro, grandchildren Autum (Tony) Benedict, Carly Kirkpatrick, Jaron (Jolene) Andrews, Gina (John) Bergin, Lora Andrews and Carter Ellis, and great grandchildren Jake, Tyler, Virgil, Ione, Iro, Andy and Josh, and one sister, Evelyn Morrical. She is also survived by her special constant companion, Zoie.

Burial will be held at Roselawn Cemetery, 1920 E Crawford St. Salina, after the service. A visitation will be held on Monday evening, June 23rd, from 4-8 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary.
