Pamela Gipe Obituary

Pamela Sue (Faulkender) Gipe, 78, of Salina, Kansas, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022, from her long battle with cancer.  Her husband, Dean (Dino), and family members were by her side.  She was born March 1, 1944, in Concordia.  Her parents were Leslie and Veva (Reddinger) Faulkender.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jerry and Howard; sisters, Eileen, Patsy, Eulalia (Boots), and Gloria.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Dean; daughter, Krenda (Gipe) Ray; her sons, Weston and Kyler; son, Shon Gipe, and his daughter, Skyler (Justin) Schneider, all of Salina; son, Chad (Tonya) Gipe, their children, Wyatt, and twins, Eli and Abbey, all of Tescott; great-grandchildren, Scarlett Ray and Jaylen Schneider, all of Salina.

Pam led a full life raising her children, bowling, playing cards with numerous family and friends, selling Avon, shopping with her best friends, daycare with numerous children that she considered her own, her grandchildren and great granddaughters.  She was quite a prankster and a fun-loving woman.  If you ever were lucky enough to get a greeting card from her, you knew to hold it over the trash can when you opened it, as it was usually full of confetti, glitter, a napkin, or a strip of Maxine comics!
